Orranje R52 R53 Cooper S Belt Tensioner Belt Tool
Orranje Performance - ORJ-R53-BELT-TOOL
Product Description
Please note that we are either awaiting stock, or this item is custom ordered in. Please contact us for the latest lead time.
The Orranje R52 R53 Belt Tensioner Tool is made of quality 8mm thick steel and is used to remove the serpentine belt on a supercharged MINI Cooper S.
We advise using a small screwdriver or allen key to "lock" the tensioner when the tension has been taken off the belt using the Orranje Belt Tensioner Tool.
Note that this design does not use the two locating pins, but uses the lip of the tensioner itself instead.
Please note that due to the nature and intention of the product, marks on the metal are to be expected.

Hi Lewis, Thank you for your feedback. We have considered a grip on the handle, but this would increase costs to customers, and the feedback is that customers just want a plain, cheap tool to do the job, and don't want to pay extra for rubberised handles etc. As with many tools, a pair of gloves could be worn to give you additional grip you require. Thanks, Oli

Hi Santo, Thank you for your feedback, however it's a little disappointing to receive 2/5 stars for such a trivial suggestion. We have considered a grip on the handle, but this would increase costs to customers, and the feedback is that customers just want a plain, cheap tool to do the job, and don't want to pay extra for rubberised handles etc. As with many tools, a pair of gloves could be worn to give you additional grip you require. Thanks, Oli
